Ralph Waterhouse opened his first
Gallery in 1974.
Located in Ambleside, in the beautiful English Lake District.

Waterhouse Gallery
was established in 1984.in Solvang
by Diane & Ralph Waterhouse.
In 1989 we moved
our Gallery to Santa Barbara.
Opening the new Gallery on the 1300 block of State Street
close by the Arlington Theatre.
In 1991 Hugh Petersen
offered us a space in beautiful La Arcada.
We gratefully accepted his offer and the Gallery moved
to its present location.
We are located in La Arcada Plaza, with it's famous Turtle fountain,
at the corner of the 1100 Block of State and Figueroa Streets.
Close by are the Museum of Art and the Public Library
(with it's beautiful new courtyard). Also close is the historic
Santa Barbara County Courthouse.
There is good parking in nearby City Lots.

In 2023 Waterhouse
Gallery opened a second Gallery,
which is located on
Coast Village Road in Montecito.
This Gallery is next to Montecito's
CaDario Italian Restaurant.
There is lots of on street and off street parking.
Both Galleries
represent some of the
finest painters from Santa Barbara
and the Western States.
Many are members of the California Art Club
and Oil Painters of America.
Waterhouse Gallery offers its clients,
artwork by artists who reflect the highest
standards of quality and integrity in their
chosen fields of painting.
The works shown in our website depict almost our
entire inventory, which is constantly changing.
